wacom latency? 2004-04-07 - By Guillaume Laforge
Back I don't have your pb with my wacom. Maybe a driver issue ?
But I don't use it in XSI. I can't find a good way to replace the three mouse buttons for XYZ and zoom control.
Coming from Lightwave I like working with a wacom in 3d.
If anyone using a tablet in XSI has some tips, I'm interested !

ive been trying to work with a wacom in xsi, however it feels like wacom interaction is the last in the io pecking order. ie: when playing through a loop of relatively heavy animation i can nolonger press the play/stop button with the wacom, however doing it with the mouse works fine.
another thing, when i press an release (just a standard click) the wacom their is about a quarter of a second delay before it actually releases in the interface, this is especially frustrating when dragging sliders, because ive already moved the cursor elsewhere intending to do other things, but actually ive just dragged my value back to zero.
its not universally slow, ie onPress is registered accurately and it tracks the wacom cursor position in realtime, however it simply doesnt release quickly?
i dont think its just an xsi thing, however thought i would ask here. anyone else experienced this? _sam
