Managed to peel it out of my scene by deleting a couple of Overrides. They
didn't seem to have anything directly to do with the Lock situation though.

harum,

A.

try scripting:
Select your material node then unlock that selection IE:

unlock "sphere.Material"

Subject: Locking Materials

Hi,

I'm just changing someones old scene and have come across 'locked' Materials
and I don't know how to unlock them.

e.g.

Material1 (Lock)

(not in italics)

is showing up next to my materials. Had a quick look in the online help but
no joy yet.

Anyone know how to unlock them?

Cheers,

Adam.
