Back I got the impression that there was a way to use UV mapping coords from one object to map onto another objects non-uv surface. might be a 3.5.1 thing but have a root around. A.

Anyone know what happened to YOUMAP - the cool tool for Soft3D - could do with that functionality right now - we need to be able to bend a texture projection, or to use a proxy deformable object to generate UVs to project onto another surface - to be able to do a wake sort of thing for a surfer surfing on Lava!! There was a rumour that Dave was looking at porting Youmap to XSI, but I never heard anymore about it!! - Dave - you around???? Any chance you did do it???
