rendertree after import SI3D scene to XSI 2004-04-01 - By Rob Wuijster
Back I'm not in front of XSI at the moment, but wasn't this implemented in 3.5 and accessable within the scene node before importing the SI3|D file? I recall reading something about this in the version notes....

There is a script that converts it all to a useable XSI Rendertree - I think it might be on XSInet - if you don't come right with it, let me know and I will send it to you! It is called OO_ReplaceSoftMaterial.vbs S. -- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ----- Sandy Sutherland Digital Doodeller/Technical Director The Refinery (Cape) http://www.refinery.co.za mailto:sandy@(protected) (P) (+27 21) 480 3132 (F) (+27 21) 480 3101 -- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- -----

Hello, Once somebody mentioned that there is a way how to rebuild a rendertree after imporitng a scene from SI3D to XSI, I can't find that topic anywhere. I have several textures ,like reflection maps, bum maps, pictures ...... some metal material.......... Somehow I can't find those textures in XSI, even if render is OK, just slightly brighter than in SI3D v3.9 Thanx for all info in advance.... Cheers, Marek
