Back I also used furDesigner...and phoenix tools (!) fur a few years ago FurDesigner was not too bad considering the period . I loved the way you could setup all the parameters along the hairs. by UV based hair do you mean combing with UV ? do you really think it was a better technique than combing guides the way it is implemented now ? I thought it was really painful.
