That does look quite amazing! How far from something like that is XSI? Some
kind of 'push + subdee'/paint on displacement operator? I want one....

Everyone probably knows this, but what the hey...
Well I've heard the name ZBrush come up so many times I figured I'd check out
the 20 minute timelapse movie over at CG Networks... Jeeeesus!
I watched a video for one of the first vesions and was really underwhelmed but
this just blew me away! I'm seriously thinking about getting out the credit
-card straight away.....
If you haven't checked it out, you should... I really had no idea it was that
powerful.
