Freezing Particle Instances?

Freezing Particle Instances?

I have used particle emmision to model an uneven surface from a group of
irregular spheres, using instances. Question is, is there a way to expand these
instances to regular geometry so I no longer need the particle system? This is
because I want to continue modeling on the new surface and I would like to get
rid of the particles so I also have the option of working with the model in XSI
Essential.

I tried Isners Instance Duplication script but get an error on line 39 - maybe
it does not work with Particle Instances...

Any suggestions?

TIA!

Best Regards
