Is 7007 the port for XSI 3.5.1?

 One thing you should do is get rid of the duplicate .rayhosts files which can
be complicating the process.  Just stick with the one you specified in the
setenv.bat file

 For troubleshooting confirm that you can ping the host machine from the
master, Confirm that your host machines port number is accurate by going to it
’s system32\etc\drivers\services file and using the port number that is
specified by the Mi-ray service i.e à mi-ray3xsi3_5_1  7007/tcp  

 

 You can test the connectivity by telneting into the host machine -> telnet
hostname mi-ray3xsi3_5_1 or using ray3 –verbose on hosts hostname:7007--

 also confirm your available Mental Ray licenses.

 Hi guys,

 

 I have been fighting with ray3host for hours!

 

 I have the IPs with port (192.168.0.3:7003) and I checked the setenv.bat for
the location of .ray3host, and put a copy of it in all the posible paths, and
changed it in the setenv.bat to match them all, one by one, but no way.

 

 How can I debug what's going on? The verbose doesn't even name the slaves as
errors.

 What can I try?
