Subject: Dynamics Oddity... 2003-12-14 - By garyc
Back Hi, depending on what you need for the animation it might be worth making a simple version of the tire (lets say from polys) for the dynamics and then parenting your more complex tire to that. I had a similar problem last week with dynamics on a complex rocket, basically the simulation ran just fine in the viewport, but doing a render, playblast or bake just made it jump a few units and lockup. After a lot of playing and a lot of "well it works on simple poly objects" I decided to go with the simple poly object and parent to more complex setup to that.
just an idea gary.
