Back Hello Bernard, I suggest to take a look at the xsi_client.vbs I think, the verbose logging was set explicitly to off in your setup (batchserver client vbs file), so even if you turn it on upon submit, it will turn it off locally prior to render. the main reason why I did this on your setup was to avoid having people leaving the logged messages set to "full or all", which was making the rendering slower due to massive messages being generated by mental ray when verbose was set to "full or all". Search for the line that use "renderpass" and few lines above you should see the setvalue that turn off explicitly verbose. Dave.

Is there any way to get a "progress report" message logging in batchserve? I'd like to see what is happening on some clients but all I can do for now is guess, make changes and resend the job.
