Back I imagine everything bar custom stuff your company writes for the department as a whole rather that just one job generally. Custom shaders used on there job aswell as others can't be regarded as the clients property i imagine. They also ensure that when the client buggers of to another house that they won't be able to match the look quite so easily. Not that i'm suggesting you do that!!

If your client paid you to do the work, don't they own everything?

I don't know how many times this issue has been discussed before but...
What's to be done when the client asks you to deliver all the 3D databases, meshes, etc...
We know that It's our ownership, but is there a way to point at some precedent or law that backs up our rights?
Dave.
