Texture Supports disappearing when freezing...

Texture Supports disappearing when freezing...

Hi,

So I'm working on the most complex model I've ever worked on,
and its all a single polymesh.  I've used several local texture supports
(currently 4) to apply different textures to different clusters on my model.
It's starting to look pretty good.

Now I start working on placing my next texture and I notice that
some details in the polymesh geometry are screwed up.  So I tweak some
points around, add a couple edges, dissolve some edges.  Looks good.

Now I'm looking in the XSI explorer at my polymesh (and my
associated clusters) and I see all the ops from my tweaking.  I would like
to simplify the polymesh and lose those ops. so I hit freeze. suddenly all
the texture supports vanish.  Yikes!  Undo that freeze.

So is there a way to collapse the ops in the polymesh without
losing the texture supports that I've been making/adjusting for so long?

           Thanks for any help!
