There can be a problem where camera projections don't map well to polygons
that are skewed to the view from the camera. The effect is a sort of
triangulated breakup of the texture where no one triangle from a poly is
projected the same as any other. The only solution is to make polys smaller,
usually by upping the subdivision or increasing NURBS step sizes.

The other thing you could find is a softening of the texturing. Enough to
show a difference if you're using a camera projection matched against liv e
action.
