Flipbook and FXTree default format.... 2004-03-05 - By Luc-Eric Rousseau
Back it isn't so much a matter of user pref, it is a problem in the file browser. There is no concept of default file format. The problem happens when people use the file browser, do not type in a file extension (is that so hard? :^) ), and do not change the filter in the file browser from 'All Format *.*' to the file type of choice. The file extension chosen is bug, it's random, it isn't a conspiracy to get you to use GEN.;-)
Will probably be fixed in the next version.
note that if you don't use the file browser dialog and type a path without file extension, fxtree *will* automatically default to .pic.
