XSI to STL 2004-03-04 - By Jonathan Veillette
Back I've worked for a company who did some stereolytographic models from STL. We used FormZ for that but I know that some models were created from Soft 3D, then triangulate and converted to STL in Nugraph. I remember that the important thing about Soft models is that they need to be closed geometry and the models should not cross over in one another, so they need to be pefectly aligned.
This is what I can remember about this process.....hope it helps!!!
