The d key (Duplicate tool) works with snapping, so you could put a grid at the
desired Y value and then activate snapping to facets.

Thanks, I forget I can put a value in the Y transform of the Duplicate
options !
But it works only with ctrl + D, not with D.

Go to Edit > Duplicate Options and check there what you want!
You can do ctrl + D as well to keep the translation, but check the
options first.
