Duplicate question 2004-03-03 - By Chris Marshall
Back If you use ctrl d, the duplicate object should be in exactly the same place (x,y and z) as the original, unless you have Apply/Repeat Xform ON in the Duplicate options (Edit menu). Might be worth checking that option. Chris

hello everybody, it's my first question here ( a basic one I think ;-p )
When I duplicate a model (with d key) it doesn't keep the Y value in transformation. The d key is very useful to duplicate trees/flowers in a natural way but I must tweak the Y value after :-(.
Is it possible to work on a differente plane than zero ?
Thank you.
Guillaume
