Hi Gang,
In our last User Group meeting we announce that in association with XSI
Montreal François Painchaud will be conducting an advance SPDL Course in
Montreal.
Below is the summary of what could be covered by an "advanced SPDL course":
- Introduction: Presets, SPDLs and property pages
- Purpose of a SPDL
- Structure (divisions) of a SPDL file
- Definition of a parameter (including an answer to the what/why/how of
GUIDS
- Specifying the UI of a parameter with simple and advanced UI controls
- Specifying the layout of parameters in a property page
- Adding scripted logic to control the parameter UI
- Adding layout buttons to trigger scripted logic
- Integrating new features to the predefined XSI SPDLs
The cost for this training will be between $50 and $80 per person depending on
the printed and digital material the participants will receive.
Time, date, and location will be determined by the number of people that are
interested and their availability (week day, at night or on a Saturday
