Back Hi,
I�m working in a team where the modeler works in Lightwave, and sends me the character already done, via obj.
The character is one only mesh. To put materials and textures I just select a poly and grow until I "rescue" the original model and do a cluster.
To envelope, should it be better to work with one only model like this or to work all the separated objects in a hierarchy?
Pros about one object (inner parts never pass the other in a wrong way) Cons: Each time a change happens somewhere I have to reenvelope everything
