executing a script on particle event

executing a script on particle event

Hi,

I would like to grow a paint effect stroke when a particle hits the ground.
Does anyone know of a good way to do this.  I guess I need a script that will
be run at collision event but what should the script do - how do I make it so
the stroke grows out of that exact place where the particle dies?

I will appreciate all your help.  I found a script on highend3d which is
supposed to do this but it didn't work when i ran it so I'd like to do it on my
own.

Thanks again.
Elvira
