Mental Ray 3.2 P4 2004-02-25 - By Jim Rothrock
Back That's a likely place to have a problem that could make the renderer unstable, since geometry shaders allow access to fundamental renderer data structures. If the tests I described in my previous message indicate that the problem is thread-related, and you are using Visual C++, make certain that the compiler options are set to generate thread-safe code. If the problem still persists, I suggest commenting out parts of the geometry shader code until the cause of the problem is isolated. -- Jim Rothrock | jimr@(protected) -- -- Original Message -- -- From: "Sascha" <sa@(protected)> To: <XSI@(protected)> Sent: Wednesday, February 25, 2004 9:43 AM Subject: Re: Mental Ray 3.2 P4
