A Question about the Sculpt Polygon Tool...

A Question about the Sculpt Polygon Tool...

Here's what I am doing, I have a extremely dense 3D model (a cyber scan
of a co workers head) and I took a NURBS sphere which I roughly
reshaped into the form of the cybercan head, and I converted it to
Poly's(to a fairly reasonable amount of vertices). Now I would like to
make the Cyberscan model "live" and literally paint using the Sculpt
Polygon Tool the Poly sphere into the shape of the cyberscan head.

My question is how do I do this. I made the cyberscan head live, and I
have attempted to use the Sculpt Poly Tool to paint the vertices of the
Poly sphere, but I am not sure if the vertices are sticking to the live
mesh, or just sticking to whatever the snap tool is set to.

It seems I can manually one by one move the verts to the cyberscan
mesh, but I was hoping the Sculpt Poly tool would speed the process up.

Has anyone attempted to do this, and if so, could you let me know how
you did it?

Thanks,

Scott h.
