Back Engineering upgraded me to XP from Win2K. If I maximized XSI in Win2K XSI spanned both monitors - I then spec'd a layout that was appropriate. In XP tho, if I maximize XSI fills only one monitor. The only way around this seems to be to Restore XSI and then tug and pull at the window edges but two things happen: XSI is now movable and errant cursor grabs/clicks slosh it all around and even the most tugged XSI window cuts off buttons at the bottom.
I just want to hit my Maximize button, have XSI fill both monitors and start working with a layout that fits my rez. (which I know I can download from a bunch of sites...)
Has anyone with an NVidia product (Quadro4 550XGL in this case) already been through this? I searched on line in the archives but the problems that are talked about have more to do with refresh on 2 monitors and OpenGL settings than with 'spanning' ... at least I know where to go when XSI stops displaying correctly. What should I fiddle faddle with in NView?
Thanks everyone,
marc
