Use the Pnet function in XSI.
Select your object then type:
ApplyOp "PolyMeshPNet"
...Into the script editor and click run. Note: XSI will run very slowly till
you freeze the new nurbs object.

dear list
after searching the mailinglist-database i couldn't find any useful info on how
to convert subd or polymesh to nurbs. is there a good solution or little
specific tool/ program for such things? i guess if it wasn't an issue with
tesselation such thing would be available long ago. all i could find is to do
it in maya, but i heard it's not very clean too and you have to repatch stuff.
- do you know anything else?
