Not that storing a Reference Pose Action wouldn't be the best way to do it, it's most save, but if the kinematic state is up to date, like when you assign the envelope after duplicating the skeleton or setting a new reference pose on the mirrored part, in case your arm is seperate and you mirrored it along, the reset actor command seems to work OK. Maybe that's just in my simple setup and you did something different in the Duplicate Symmetry process.
Not having full trust in it though.
