Transferring UV Coordinates to Subdivisions ?

Transferring UV Coordinates to Subdivisions ?

Hi,

how can I transfere the texture-coordinates from a polygonobject to it's
subdivisionobject. I do not mean the geometry approximation one, instead
I want to use the real object. I think it was version 2 where I could
use the "duplicate using geometry approximation" object to get the uv
coordinates. But since Softimage speeded up the subdees ( only a guess)
this does not work anymore. It looks like the internal numbering of the
points is different. They do not match. I did not use different modes,
same level and same type.

Does anybody have a solution, or at least a tip how to solve this?

cheers Martin
