Back Hello,
I'm having a bit of trouble with Scripted Ops and python. Mainly, python doesn't seem to work! I'm getting nasty indentation errors which I know it is a bogus error.
So what is the deal? The title bar of the Scripted Op view says "Python Active X Scripting Engine" but I think XSI is lying to me just to get me all hyped up.
I was planning on converting my old SCOPS to python but this is starting to look like a dead issue.
If I select a sphere and try to apply a SCOP to it's local kine there's an error before I even type code.
#-- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- #ERROR : "Traceback (innermost last): #IndentationError: expected an indented block (line 4) # - [line 0 in auxiliary code]" #ERROR : "Traceback (innermost last): #IndentationError: expected an indented block (line 4) # - [line 0 in auxiliary code]" #ERROR : "2190 - The scripted operator connected to sphere.kine.local.posx produced a runtime error during its evaluation and will no longer be evaluated. # -- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ----
Looks like the party is over before I got started.
Thanks,
/R
