Back Remote Administrator will actually let you cut and paste between systems... remote -> local or local-> remote, though it's not as fast as on VNC simply because there's one extra step. If you click on the "R" Icon in the upper left of the window, you have two options, Get Clipboard or Set Clipboard. Set will take the local clipboard and pass it to the remote system so then you can paste it, and Get will do the reverse.

vnc seems a touch overkill just for moving a few lines of text, especially seeing just how slow it is. I use Remote Administrator
