Back Hey, often when you copy stuff from a CD or DVD back to the Harddrive, all files will be marked as read-only. XSI might not like that, and that may be causing your corruption problems. After copying the projects back to the server, you should mark *all* files as writable and see if you problem goed away.

Hi all, sorry for slight OT...
we archive our XSI stuff ( scenes, models, textures ...) on DVD. We experienced rencently a problem where scenes archieved were corrupted when put back on the server although the burning software didn't mention any errors at recording stage.
Do you guys know of any software or "trick" that would insure the backup is safe ? (Apart from opening every single scene)...
