Back Omar,
I had given your answer a lot of thought and moreso how to explain the steps for you there omar. I believe i did this. If you would like I will resend you the email I had sent earlier. Or Please post each question in a new topic individually to clearly resolve each. Sometimes there can be many hidden and foundational details which need verification otherwise the whys and watchoutfors can mess you up.
If I place a brick of a brick wall in the wrong place on the screen a hundred times but the 101st time I place it right then I can begin to build that brick structure I wanted to and in correct perspective. Also 100 places I will not place the brick too unless they are required to be placed there for some other design.
trueSpace is a craftsmans tool Omar. It does take time to develop the skilled knowledge to work with it. It can be bewildering as well due to its fascinating screen results however displayed. As you find your own focus, methods and pace with how to do the things your efforts are rewarded with a design resolve. Towards this trueSpace should be able to do what you require.
I took the time to spell out just how to do the hollow cube. In one response I specifically detailed the steps with manipulating the magic ring like 1,2,3. The other, I had sent directly to your email a tiff file which contained a pictorial example detailing an office structure created out of the same "hollowed cube" and again more explanation to your design and howto requirements . Both efforts I made for the purpose of your clarity and objective imagination towards your design.
These foundational methods are like tools in your toolchest. Learn em and don't forgeeaed em as they will be useful, always, in other design objectives you may have.
Thanks for your question as it cleared many things up for me which were undone.
David
Each was detailed in step form as I am looking at the emails I had sent.
Have a look at the magic ring and fiddle with it until it works

Again I want to thank everyone for their suggestions. I had no time to try them our until this morning :). Anyway here goes: Triangulating the objects before boolean didn't work. David suggested using a hollow cube rather than a shelled cube. What's the difference? How do you make a hollow cube? (sorry if the question sounds stupid). I am trying out Thomas' suggested technique now: using cubes for each wall. It seems to be more difficult, but what he says about 3d engines and Booleans make sense (Booleans have weird reactions).
I have another question though. I am finding the default TS grid to small. Is there any way to enlarge the grid? Thanks.
Sincerely, Omar
