Hello list.

If you want to work from within a cube such as a shell. It may be achieved with
this method.

Add the magic ring effect to a torus primitive and size the edges to create a
cube. How? right click on the little yellow knob and move mouse left.  This
will reduce the edge count of the torus. To create the wall thickness move
mouse to below and above the green part of the ring left or right click to some
degree to get the desired results.

You will be able to get inside the cube quite easily once done and apply
whatever editing you like.

Tools: magic ring torus, pointedit tools(add delete vertices, edges etc)
and the sweep tool, to create windows and walls etc.

You could also create one thin (A walls thickness) cube set to the desired
height and width.
