Display settings 4 different objects 2005-06-28 - By DAVID STUBBS
Back Hiya Jeff,
Sorry there, I got taken away by the materials editor and got lost for a bit doing more research. Gheez, alot to keep track of with respect to recording what a person did to get to an objects state as well - good to have the object notepad for literal reference if not keeping a separate file.
Materials and other effects used for defining objects are heavy on the resource as I am finding out with object renders.
Yes, trueSpace is an expansive facilitator towards design objectives. found some neat perspectives with geometry references. Still working on 'em now but managed to develop a sense of clarity for object placement using geometric finess. Positionings, rotations, sizings and the like. tS adds up on how you want to work with the tool whatever your method in mind.
Its a craftsmans tool and I'm proud of it and points out many refinements towards use given objectives. It is very versitile and nice when you get something right on within the workspace.
Here's to making money with it.

Glad the technique information is helpful.
As for other helpful tools that come into play with the display modes, the layers can be used to lock assigned objects from selection while you work on target objects around them. You can toggle layers from view as needed for both modeling and rendering. This is a big help in rendering parts of scenes without interference from other parts and testing out different configurations around common parts. Differing display modes again help in comparing different configurations overlaid on each other.
Isn't the flexibility of trueSpace wonderful? :o)
Regards,
Jeff
