 Hi Cobus,

With "Pass Thrgh" checked on the Display options (Should be checked by
default) you can R-click on the Selector Ball for an object (blue ball that is
part of the selector cage widget) to display the Objects Tool Bar and access
the "Object Mode" button (second from the left with default of Object Mode Off)
to set any mode you want for the object.

This will allow each object to have its own display mode.  When you un-check
the "Pass Thrgh" control all the objects will take on the global mode as set by
the "Draw objects as..." tool (bottom right corner toolbar of screen). Toggle
it back on and you have the individual settings you set before.

There is a button in the lower right corner of the Icon Finder grid that
looks like two boxes with thin black X's through them that will return all
object to the "default off" mode.  I like to put this on the objects tool bar
with its other display modes.

The whole arrangement is really quite powerful for individual display while
modeling.  I hope this is the solution you are looking for.

 Regards,

 Jeff
