Back I certainly wasn't planning on making it into an SDS object, so it's nice that others agree. I know I know im on the right track :)

The only point to SDS is to limit the number of polygons you actually have to create and texture (and manipulate if somehow animated). In other words, you have alredy modeled the mask well past the point necessary for an SDS transition.
PS this message got bounced because it grew to big from the original post so I'm resending. -- -- Original Message -- -- From: Matt Geier To: truespace@(protected) Sent: Monday, June 06, 2005 9:07 AM Subject: Re: [TSML] (June 6th) Update - "First Attempt at a Head"
For the sake of my character I won't say this is an oxygen mask, but rather a unique breathing aparatus :). Go figure the year 3046 and use your imagination :). A green liquid in the "tube", well it's interesting. I'm anxious to get this onto the character, however, it's quite difficult to mold onto an SDS surface. I would make the breathing aparatus an SDS object, but then I loose the "block" look I am going for.

This has been an issue, trying to model polygons around my SDS head. LOL
