(June 6th) Update - "First Attempt at a Head " 2005-06-06 - By Matt Geier
Back For the sake of my character I won't say this is an oxygen mask, but rather a unique breathing aparatus :). Go figure the year 3046 and use your imagination :). A green liquid in the "tube", well it's interesting. I'm anxious to get this onto the character, however, it's quite difficult to mold onto an SDS surface. I would make the breathing aparatus an SDS object, but then I loose the "block" look I am going for.

This has been an issue, trying to model polygons around my SDS head. LOL

Well, it?s been a while since I updated this project. I don't get much time to work on this, but when I do I try to make some progress. I just started working out my textures a day or so ago. I have spent the last few weeks completely redoing my topography. Turns out, my loops went, "spiraling" around my character, rather then, connecting the same loop to the other end, if that makes any sense. I spent about three days re-modeling the entire back of the head, from the eyes back. Anyway, wanted to post an update, I'm doing the best I can with the texturing, hopefully it will look better when it's finished, and it?s just slow going right now.
