Game Pak Question for you game makers ;)

Game Pak Question for you game makers ;)

Hi, All,

I haven't done much re: making game content, but I received an offer for a
Game Pak set of tools and I'm trying to make a budget decision.

The thing is that I keep thiking that perhaps it might be useful to be able
to create buildings and landscapes for games but can't decide whether to
spend $300 (I'm rounding up).  IOW not sure whether I can jutify it.

THing is, how useful a skill is this?  I admittedly prefer high-poly
modeling, but I've learned a lot more over the past several months about
low-polygon modeling (which sure is harder then it seems at first glance to
be =8-o !!)If nothing else, I'm trying to think what would be useful
models/formats to try to sell via TurboSquid (the only place I know of off
the top of my head).

I don't do humans at all, and don't do critters (still have to learn Bones
=8-O or at least figrue out the finer points of Poser's version of
bones).  I like doing buildings (*a lot*) and landscapes, plants also (I
enjoy photographing them and making textures).

So I'm interested in people's input/opinions re: whether the Game Pak would
be useful or whether I'd be better off getting something like the
additional format export support.

Many TIAs :) !
