Truespace 7: Nvidia 5000/6000 vs. 9000 series from ATI 2005-05-30 - By Roman Ormandy
Back I would tend to agree, I am running TS7 Beta on 128MB X300 as well as 256 MB 6800 and it seems to me that NVidia is more stable. On the other hand, our developers mostly use X800 cards and they seem to be happy with them.

I just upgraded from a GeForce 3 Ti 500 with 64 megs of ram to a 6800 GT 256 megs of ram in a 16 X PCI express slot, now I can run Doom 3 full out. It is hard to say anything bad about the GeForce 3 card but the 6800 is worth every penny if you are in to 3D. It has been my expreience that ATI drivers are a bit buggy and they always appear to have left out a function that I really need, they are found lacking in the dual monitor area. If you are using one of their motherboard, Nvidia offers continuity that ATI can not achieve, for the moment anyway.
