I just upgraded from a GeForce 3 Ti 500 with 64 megs of ram to a 6800 GT 256
megs of ram in a 16 X PCI express slot, now I can run Doom 3 full out. It is
hard to say anything bad about the GeForce 3 card but the 6800 is worth
every penny if you are in to 3D. It has been my expreience that ATI drivers
are a bit buggy and they always appear to have left out a function that I
really need, they are found lacking in the dual monitor area. If you are
using one of their motherboard, Nvidia offers continuity that ATI can not
achieve,for the moment anyway.
