Nice effects :) .  Did you use a sky-dome?  Looks like it because of the
water reflections.

I liked the sugggestion about maybe a windswept tree and jsut a bit of
brush/fer underneath.

Just a suggestion:  One tree would emphasise the separateness/isolation of
it; 3 or more would make it more like a welcoming retreat from the
world.  Also, the boat shoudl be on the lee side, right?, so would that
mean (as I think it does) that the winsdswept branches be bending towards
the boat...?
