You are right about your thoughts.

Your Win 2000 seems to be balanced well for you, and that is good to know.

Just thinking here.

Win 2000 is prepared to receive .Net as well.  What the affect will be is
another question but should be fine. Considering if TrueSpace 7 is .Net
written. Will there be required adjustments if going to TS 7.

It is a new world coming in terms of .Net transition. manufactures of products
take this transition into consideration and try to provide for legacy
functionality
with update patches.

Decisions on new product purchases are certainly better served with some
of these questions given answer gleaned from this TSML forum.

have tried XP and just don't like it, you need 256M of ram just to run it. I am
looking into a XP4000 and will probably use W2K it has worked great with TS so
if it ain't broke, don't fix it
