WIP Update - Island in the Sea 2005-05-28 - By John Gaubatz
Back Dave, The shadows look right to me, i would expect the shadows to behave this way, fading to the right. I think you did a great job on the water. Care to share any tips on how you achieved that effect? The image looks great to me, but the boat is throwing me a curve ball. To me the island has a distant feel to it, like it is really large, but the boat brings the scale of the island back down. Looking at the island, i am asking myself why would there be a dock and boat on a small island like this, where there is hardly room to walk, not even a beach that I can see. I am not trying to be critical here, just relaying my thoughts when looking at the image. All in all the sky and water and shadows are right on. Good job.

I think the ambient looks a bit better now and I flattened the bump as well.
Any other comments? :)
Thanks
Cheers Dave
