A good site at Microsofts is : as it deals with Multimedia 2D 3D and gaming
action
 http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/games/expert/staroscik_03january27
.mspx

Microsoft has info on  DirectX as well. By the way DirectX 9c is out for
download

PS:            .Net will not run on Win98 - XP is a required upgrade for this
technology.

 All the best

 David

Thanks David. I actually already upgraded to DX9c I see XP comes in multi-media
edition, I wonder if there is any benefit to 3D apps like TS with this?
