Hello Swilson

I found this article on XP and older machines at the winXP home site Microsoft

It deals with older computers and the benifets  of XP compared with win98

Quote:
Myth #8: Windows XP Won't Run on My PC
Many of the folks with whom I've talked believe that they're
computers aren't powerful enough to run Windows XP. Their thinking
is that it can't possibly run on a computer that's two years old.
After all, two years is an eternity in terms of Moore's Law.
But I'm here to tell you that Windows XP runs great on older
computers. In fact, I have some computers that are over
three years old that are running Windows XP. Even on
PCs with Pentium II processors. And Windows XP even seems to
perform better on these computers than earlier versions of Windows.
The trick is to upgrade the computer's memory, which is the gating
factor for performance during normal usage. You might barely notice
a faster processor, but the whole thing becomes zippier if you
increase your computer's memory. And the price of memory has dropped
so significantly that you can get it for little more than the price
of a dinner at your favorite haunt. Read a couple of my earlier
columns: Recycling an Older Computer and More on Recycling an
Older Computer.

Richard,

Your system should run TS7 OK but you will have to upgrade to Windows XP.
Also I would recommend 1GB RAM for serious modeling.

Seen the new offer for proteam (Hmm... tempting...) , I know system
requirements probably posted somewhere,
I run a 1.4Ghz Athlon (266Mhz Motherboard)
Windows Me
512 DDR Ram
Radeon 9600XT 128MB DDR

Yes, a timely computer, works awesome with TS 6.6
How will this run TS7? or will it?
