Hi Kris.
U can't model on a rigged mesh in TS, Even C4D has some odd quirks when
modeling on a rigged mesh.
n Gods help ya if ya boolean a weighted hN mesh,bad very bad things happen.
It's a major ordeal to model charters that animate correctly.at times I don't
think it's possible.
then ya half to set vertex maps, make smart skin, morphs etc etc.
it's just a nightmare.Man do I wish there was a Poser like app for main 3D app
's.
I'm rambling aren't I.
U can model charters in zBrush.
Don't worry about perfect just have fun.
Anyways don't guess it's never a bad idea to learn new things.
I did learn LW & I guess it broaden my knowledge of 3D.
Gave me a deferent perspective of 3D.

I so very much dislike LW.but hay there's 1000's disillusioned,misguided lost
souls that love it.
So maybe give Nurbs a Minute or two of ya time.
I normally don't compare app's but
LW is one of the most powerful apps out there and they managed to make it the
most complicated ^100 app out there.
what's the point of having a SR-71 if ya can't get it out the garage ?
years a go it was considered a King now it's just considered a old bum.
Nurbs could be a power house IF ...
