Well, I don't have any use for spheres with off centered holes in them.
Can't think of any use for them.what our u all making with them ?
LW has a sphereorizer in it so ya can make anything in to  a sphere.
Anyways I'd rather model practical spheres. :)

 Ahh, but like Hans' orginal post and my reply, try that with the cylinder
 off axis from the sphere and sharp edges around the 'join', just like this:
