Nurbs vs Polygon modeling - Better, or equal-but-different? 2005-05-19 - By john
Back I must say that TS Nurbs can be 10 times faster than Polygons in modeling ,
I also can model anything better, faster with Nurbs than polygons.
However I've been using Polygons forever and can see why RorrKonn would say that.
The down side with TS6.6 I can't get the tools to work as they should. Then there is the UV probs with Nurbs objects which make you convert to polygons. if you plan to paint something.
So play around with the NURBS tools but stick to your poly is what I would say.
Belive me NURBS are tools with power when they work, even out do SDS tools when modeling
.( TS does not have a complete set of Nurbs tools to work with IMHO even the basic tools don't work as they should)
