Back Thanks for your response John, Would you please tell me where the polytool set is located.
Here is a way that works well. I had just proved it myself today ! Ha
Starting with a dot.
1): Add a primitive to the workspace I used a cube or a cylinder Use any primitive - as a start or include their use during the mesh development process.
The primitives offer a basic mesh for which can be deleted or added to.
2): Set its location anywhere in the 3D space
3): Add another primitive and set its location to within a short proximity to the 1st object
4): boolean add together
5): use add edges to any point on an edge - bridge the other object
6): delete edges as required if just wanting a single line
7): Add a third object and use it as a guide for point location to setting strands or use it as a bridge to that point.
8): There are other good uses to as I discovered when using a rectangle and used face angle change and sweep.
With this method I can start with a small dot and build whatever I want from there.
This deals with a spline formation and adds skill of art to the effort as I was interested in doing.
Benifets Could be used by oil painters to sharpen eye and hand feel too as it helps focus the 3D space. Found many other good uses too.
Build either parts of mesh as practice for moving meshes or for project requirement.
Now to find the troubling areas in the method.
Kinda neat
Thanks
David
