Thinking about shaders made me remember the series that Simon Windmill wrote
- CoolPowers 2, 3 and 4, toon up pro and reflects pro.

I bought most of them before Simon made them firstly "donate-ware" and now
freeware at SourceForge.

Have a look around and there may be something for you to use -

I still use Relects Pro now and then - it has some "side effects" (if I can
put it that way) in tS 6.6 but it has been one of my favourites.
