I checked out your tutorial.  It was really well done.  I've never
purchased a course like that, but seeing
the quality, it made me want to.

The way you approached it was so much simpler than the way I was going
about it.  I didn't really understand
what blend could do for me, and how I coulde make a solid from planes,
and then do a "blend".

Converting it to a polygon (which I need to do for exporting to other
programs) still introduced problems.  I eventually
figured out that when converted to a polygon that the faces on the
planes didn't really all face "out".  It was also a "grouped"
object and not a single object.   With the "Swap faces" tool I could get
them to all face out, and things were pretty good, but
if you got close you could still see artifacts at the edges, since the
edges themselves were not really joined together (they were
just "close" together).

Does anyone have any ideas how to get these separate planes joined
together?  Is union my only choice?   If so, any thoughts on how to do
that in the simplest fashion?
