Hi Joey,

This is a common problem with Maya skinning, there seem to be a limited
precision, and when you start to move too far from the origin, such things
start to show. If you modeled everything 1:1 it starts at about the figures
you mentioned.

Workarounds we use is working at 1:10 on everything (I'd prefer 1:1 for
simplicity of dynamics settings, but well). Another option would be to make
the aircraft the center of the scene and move everything around it (maybe
only for the "inside" shots) but it could be a bit confusing to animate.
